David Schooff, SIOR/CCIM

David Schooff, SIOR/CCIM is the President/Broker/Owner of NAI Belize, established in 2018. Schooff brings real estate expertise and leadership to NAI Belize through is existing US based companies. He has been President/Broker/Owner of Coldwell Banker Commercial Fisher Group (CBCFG) since 2006. CBCFG is the holdings company for Coldwell Banker Commercial Fisher Group, Fisher Management and Fisher Development.  In his role at NAI Belize, he provides oversight of the business specifically in brokerage of commercial real estate across sectors such as retail, office, industrial and multi-family.
Schooff has formed an extensive real estate investment portfolio throughout Minnesota.

 He is one of the Top 2% (Platinum Award) of brokers in the entire Coldwell Banker Commercial network nationwide and has been the Coldwell Banker Commercial #1 Broker in Minnesota more than three times during his real estate career. He is the only Broker in Greater Mankato to hold both the prestigious SIOR and CCIM commercial real estate designations. He also owns property in Belize and is passionate about strengthening the regional economy and providing professional real estate services.

Prior to his work at CBCFG, he was the President/CEO of the Greater Mankato Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Mankato Convention & Visitors Bureau. He created programming in the areas of community marketing, workforce development, housing development, public policy and tourism.

Schooff serves on several non-profit boards including the Mankato Area Foundation, Minnesota State University Hoops Club and is the Board Chair for Feeding Our Communities Partners (Backpack Food Program) among others.  Periodically, he serves as an adjunct instructor in the Urban and Regional Studies Institute at Minnesota State University, Mankato teaching courses in Community Leadership, Economic Development and Downtown Revitalization. Schooff also plays an integral role in growing businesses in the Greater Mankato area by investing in, and revitalizing properties in downtown Mankato and St. Peter. He also owns several Dunkin’ Donuts franchises, and swears it is the best cup of coffee money can buy.

Schooff is a philanthropist and enjoys giving back to area non-profits and is a generous supporter of Minnesota State University, Mankato Athletics. A Chicago native and avid sports fan, he enjoys rooting for the Bears on Sundays and has been a Brewers fan since childhood. When they aren’t jet-setting across the globe, Schooff lives in Mankato with his wife, Michelle. They are members of Hosanna Lutheran Church and have been married 13 years.

Jeremy "JB" Brown

Jeremy Brown (JB) is a Co-Owner of NAI Belize. JB leads development projects and expansion with NAI Belize. He believes in the vast opportunities of investment and development throughout Belize and brings the expertise clients need to turn their dreams into reality.

JB brings more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry to NAI Belize. As the owner of Alliance Contracting in Mankato, Minn., he oversees all aspects of the operations. His focus on client relations and efforts to increase efficiencies while maintaining a high standard of quality sets him apart from other professionals.  

On a typical day, he wears several hats: finance and business/ project development, qualifying subcontractors and reviewing and approving bids, contract negotiations and construction/project management on larger projects. JB owns property in Belize and loves visiting to escape the brutal Minnesota winters!

Prior to forming Alliance Contracting, Jeremy was the head of construction administration and a project manager at an architecture and engineering firm in the Twin Cities (Minneapolis – St. Paul, Minn.), working with both public and private-sector clients nationwide. His overall success can be credited to his hands-on experience participating in both the design and construction of complex projects, the application of that experience, his organizational skills and attention to detail.

Jeremy is a member of the MN River Builders Association and the American Legion. He volunteers as a coach for youth hockey and served in the U.S. Military. Jeremy lives in Elysian, Minn. with his wife and three children. Outside of work, he enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing, and hockey.

Karen Toft

Karen is Vice President of NAI Belize, specializing in commercial real estate in Ambergris Caye. Her love for sun, sand and travel have helped her and the front office lead the industry in brokerage, property management and development. As VP, Karen provides support and guidance as NAI Belize makes a splash as the premier commercial real estate and property solutions organization in Belize!

Newly licensed as a real estate agent, Karen has seen early success in her career. In 2018, she closed more than $1.6 million in transactions in the US. She is excited to grow into the field and has a passion for matching clients with the perfect investment opportunity.

Karen also serves as the Director, Sales & Leasing of US office, Coldwell Banker Commercial Fisher Group based in Southern Minnesota. She provides support to existing clients while continuing to build new relationships in the CBC Fisher Group office as well as at our international listings.

Prior to CBC Fisher Group, Toft worked as the Director of Member Relations and Office Operations at Greater Mankato Growth and has extensive knowledge of prospect research, client retention and employee development. Toft has a zest for travel and a keen ability to build personal connections across industries.

April Femrite, CBI, MBA

April serves the NAI Belize office the Director, Sales & Leasing. She leads a team of agents in the areas of brokerage, sales and leasing and has expertise in international real estate transactions.  
April provides professional, knowledgeable representation to clients during the process of selling or buying privately held businesses. Specialized in the sale and purchase of resorts, hotels, lodges, businesses and investment properties in the country of Belize. Her unique relationships provide clients with international exposure through agents working in both Belize and the United States.

April brings a breadth of knowledge to the newly established office in Belize and is a Business Broker and licensed Commercial Real Estate Professional at Coldwell Banker Commercial Fisher Group (CBCFG) in Mankato, Minnesota, USA.  April completed the designation of Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) from the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA) which less than 10% of all Business Brokers around the world have achieved.

April is well traveled in the country of Belize, developed buyer contacts all over the world and can successfully navigate sellers and buyers through the legal and financial process when purchasing real estate in Belize. She is a resourceful individual who can analyze new situations and effectively plan a route of action.

April has been a business and community leader for the past 12 years in founder, owner and managerial roles.
